Easter Bream Classic

The Gold Coast Sport Fishing Club is pleased to once again present the Easter Bream Classic. The  Easter Classic is a one day teams tournament for Bream. Whether you are a tournament regular of a new comer the Easter Classic is a great fun comp. It is also caters for families who want to fish as a team. Good Friday has proven to be a good time to go fishing for Gold Coast Bream.

Date Claimer: 2015 Easter Bream Classic Date: 3 April 201

Where: Volunteer Marine Rescue Base Seaworld Drive ‘The Spit’  Use the side gate near the beach to access the base to register on the day

When: Registration on the day from 6.00am at the VMR base, please bring cash, Briefing at 6.45 am, Live well checks etc from 6.30am Start time 7.00am SHARP

Entry: $130 per team or $110 for a team with 1 adult and 1 junior. Adults can fish with up to two junior (2 adults and 1 junior $130 or 1 adult and 2 juniors $110 ) as long as the junior is 16years or under. The entry will include lunch and soft drinks

  • Rules for the ‘Bream Classic’ will be based on the current ABT Tournament rules.

No Pre-Fish Ban

  • ABT Tournament Boundaries. Northern boundary the powerlines on Russell Island
  • No fishing areas will be explained in the pre event briefing
  • Sausage Sizzle & soft drinks provided
