Inagural 2026 Doug Burt Tackle World Ladies Flathead Shootout Delivers an Unforgettable Day
The inaugural Doug Burt's Tackle World Ladies Flathead Shootout was an outstanding success, with more than $25,000 worth of prizes, gifts and giveaways awarded throughout an incredible day of fishing, fun and friendship.
More than 75 people came together to celebrate this inaugural event, creating an amazing atmosphere both on and off the water. From competitors and volunteers to sponsors and supporters, the day was a true celebration of women in fishing and the wonderful community that surrounds our sport.
From first-time competitors to experienced anglers, the event showcased the growing passion for women's fishing while creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces, plenty of impressive catches, and new friendships formed throughout the day.
