A Big Night at the Club! Members Celebrate the 2025 Flathead Classic and Look Ahead

Following the incredible success of the 2025 Flathead Classic, members of the Gold Coast Sportfishing Club — along with a few new faces — came together last night for a lively and well-earned Club Night at the clubhouse.

The atmosphere was buzzing as anglers swapped stories from the Classic, shared a few laughs over the highs and lows of competition week, and looked ahead to what’s next on the club calendar. Future events and upcoming competitions were discussed, with plenty of enthusiasm and ideas flowing about how to make the next one even bigger and better.

No club night would be complete without a little friendly rivalry, and the evening’s raffle draw brought plenty of excitement — along with some great prizes for a few lucky winners. A sizzling BBQ kept everyone well-fed and happy, rounding out a perfect evening of mateship, good food, and shared passion for fishing.

The Gold Coast Sportfishing Club would like to thank all members for their continued support, energy, and involvement, especially following such a fantastic turnout at this year’s Flathead Classic. Whether you competed, volunteered, or came down to cheer everyone on — your efforts make our club what it is.
