Auction and Raffle 10/07/2025

Last Thursday night, the Gold Coast Sport Fishing Club gathered for its much-anticipated monthly meeting, and what an evening it turned out to be!

The night was buzzing with energy as members came together to celebrate the standout anglers from Wilson Elite Round One. A huge congratulations to those who were recognized for their outstanding skill and dedication—your achievements continue to set the bar for all of us!

One of the evening's highlights was the auction of fishing rods, with several members generously offering up some serious gear. Special mention goes to David Green, whose contributions helped make the auction a lively and successful part of the night. Whether you were bidding or just spectating, there was no shortage of excitement.

Of course, no club night would be complete without a bit of luck, and that came in the form of our raffle giveaway which saw both kids and adults walking away with some fantastic prizes.

To top it all off, the club hosted a classic barbecue. What better way to enjoy good company and fishing stories than over sizzling sausages and cold drinks? The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and filled with laughter, just as we like it.

We were also thrilled to welcome a wave of new members who signed up on the night. It’s always a pleasure to see fresh faces joining the community and sharing in the passion we all hold for sport fishing.

All in all, it was a successful and enjoyable night for anglers young and old. Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening run smoothly, and to all those who attended—your support is what keeps this club thriving.
