Round 3 of the Wilson Elite Flathead Series Launches as the Race to the Grand Final Heats Up

The stage is set for Round 3 of the 2025 Wilson Elite Flathead Series, and the pressure is on as teams prepare for their final shot at qualifying for September’s Grand Final. Proudly hosted by the Gold Coast Sportfishing Club and powered by Wilson Fishing and Track My Fish Tournament Edition, this elite series is testing the best of the best across the Gold Coast’s inshore waters.

🎣 Round 1 Recap
Tough weather didn’t stop the action in Round 1, where our teams powered through wind and rain to kick off the series strong. Despite the conditions, some impressive Flathead were landed early, setting the benchmark high.

Round 2 brought much fairer skies, and with the sun shining, the fish were on. The scoreboard shook up with some standout catches and leaderboard changes—proving just how competitive this series is becoming.
