February is shaping up to be an important and exciting month at the Gold Coast Sportfishing Club, with key meetings, our Annual General Meeting, and a special guest speaker to help get everyone ready for the upcoming Mangrove Jack Competition.

Whether you’re involved behind the scenes, keen to have your say, or just love a good fishing night at the Club, there’s plenty happening.

Committee Meeting – Tuesday 3rd February

Our final official committee meeting before the AGM will be held on Tuesday 3rd February.

We’d like to acknowledge and thank all committee members for the time, effort, and dedication they’ve put into supporting the Club over the past year. Your contribution plays a huge role in keeping the GCSFC community strong.

AGM & Club Night – Thursday 12th February

Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday 12th February, followed by our regular Club Night.

The AGM is an important opportunity for members to:

  • Stay informed about the Club

  • Have a say in its direction

  • Get involved in the future of GCSFC

All members are encouraged to attend.

Guest Speaker: Mick Horn

We’re excited to welcome Mick Horn as our guest speaker on the night.

Mick will be sharing practical tips, tactics, and insights to help anglers get prepared for the upcoming Mangrove Jack Competition. Whether you’re planning to compete or simply want to improve your mangrove jack fishing skills, this session is perfectly timed and not to be missed.
