Kids Fishing Clinic

Ready to reel in a good time?

Join us at the Gold Coast Sport Fishing Clubhouse for a hands-on fishing clinic just for kids! Whether they're new to fishing or already hooked, this is a fun, relaxed way to build confidence and learn the basics.

Who’s It For?

• Max 30 kids (ages 6–14 recommended)

• One parent/guardian per child to attend

Cost

• $10 per child - includes a gear pack, BBQ, and drink!

• Saturday, June 20th (School Holidays)

• Time: 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM

Flow of the Day

1. BBQ & Registration – Check in and grab a bite

2. Welcome & Tackle Talk – A quick chat to kick things off

3. Activity Stations:

   • Knot Tying – Learn the basics to secure your catch

   • Casting Practice – Hit the target with your cast

   • Gear Chat & Q&A – Explore rods, reels, and all the fishing gear

4. Wrap-Up & Pack Collection

Kids Receive

1. Event wristband at registration

2. BBQ sausage sizzle and a drink

3. Take-home starter gear pack

Parent Info

• All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate.

• Parents can purchase food and drinks separately

• Registered volunteers will guide the kids through each activity

• Club members may rotate between stations for extra support
