Team Substitutions – How They Work:
Each registered team may consist of 2 or 3 anglers.
We understand that things can change between rounds, so here’s how substitutions are handled:
Each team may make up to 1 substitution per round.
The substituted angler must be nominated before fishing starts on the day of the event.
Substitutions must be sent via text to the Gamesmaster (Jason Swain – 0414 535 792) or emailed to the Club prior to lines in at: gamesmaster@gcsfc.com.au
Once fishing has commenced, no substitutions will be allowed for that round.
For teams aiming to qualify for the Grand Final, substitutions will be tracked and must remain within the same team structure (e.g., at least one original registered angler must remain across all qualifying rounds to retain eligibility).
Substitutions made without notifying the Gamesmaster may result in disqualification for that round.
Prizes & Awards Round 1, 2, & 3:
There’s over $8,000 in prizes up for grabs in each qualifying round, with rewards going to the top 5 positions—so every cast counts!
